In Ibiza you have the possibility to practice a wide range of sports.
You will find the following in Ibiza : 5 sport harbours, 3 boat clubs, 12 water skiing schools, sails, 26 scuba diving schools, 3 sports centers, 1 golf course with 27 holes, 8 horseback riding clubs, go-karting, cruise boats, water amusement parks, mountaineeriing, hiking, bowling, etc.

There are 5 sport harbours and 3 boat clubs in Ibiza : The Ibiza Boat Club and The San Antonio Boat Club.
Moreover, Ibiza organizes sailing courses for children and adults. Also note that there are numerous competitions, such as the “strada del sale” , which is an emblematic boat race that scours the seas from Barcelona to Ibiza during the holy week. There is also the “settimana internationale della vela per le navi da crociera” which takes place at San Antonio during the last week of October.
Besides this, if you want to get to know the island much better, it is possible to go on an excursion behind the island thanks to some private companies that organize this service for the tourists.
Like in the other Balearic Islands, you may go scuba diving, water skiing and parachuting thanks to the specialized clubs that organize these activities.
During high season it is possible to go on a guided monitor skiing trip in the water early in the morning or at night when the sea is calmer and therefore the skiing conditions are better.

There are two racecources in Ibiza. The first one is located at San Jordi de Ses Salines and the second one is near San Rafael. These hippodromos not only function as race tracks where private clubs and horseback riding centers take part in the horse races on Sundays, but they also hold cultural and social forms of entertainment such as, concerts or parties throughout the entire year.
